WHAT'S GOIN' ON?

Well, It's been a while since I first started this blog and I decided to resurrect it because I have REALLY learned a LOT about how to take care of my hair and I REALLY do NOT struggle with it anymore unless...

1) I wear typical twists. Twists are a style whereby you take two pieces of hair and twist them around each other creating a rope-like appearance. This is cute, except...IF the hair gets damp or wet, the sections of hair want to mat up and tangle. When it comes time to take these sections down, OUCH! I end up with knots at the end of my hair, which is NOT a good thing! I CAN put my hair into larger twisted sections in order to stretch it out a bit, but the smaller twists are an absolute NO.

2) I use the standard over the counter products. If I use sulfate-based shampoos and silicone laden conditioners, my hair is a mess. These days, however, I use the Young Living Lavender Mint shampoo and conditioner, and it is AMAZING!!

3) I use cheap combs. I broke down and spent the $12 on a seamless comb and I LOVE it! It does NOT snag my hair AT ALL and I would easily spend the money again.

The products and tools that I currently use make my hair VERY manageable. I would not be able to get through hair day without them!

If you are interested in  learning more about these products, you can email me at cpoggal@gmail.com. Thanks!
